We Are Delighted To Announce That We Have Been Shortlisted For An Award At The National Enterprise Network Awards 2019 In The Category ‘Enterprise Support Champion’.

Created in 2007, the National Enterprise Network Awards were set up to recognise excellence in the delivery of enterprise support across the country. The names of the overall category winners will be announced on Friday 22nd November during a dedicated awards ceremony at the National Enterprise Network Annual Conference taking place at the Barclays offices in Canary Wharf.

“The organisations featured on the 2019 National Enterprise Network Awards shortlist have all clearly demonstrated excellence in the delivery of enterprise support or work taking place in educational settings which are focused on embedding entrepreneurial spirit and enterprise into this environment. It was clear from all of this year’s entries that there are some fantastic enterprise initiatives and truly dedicated individuals within the network. We’ve always been proud of the work of our members and wider network and congratulate everyone who has been shortlisted. We look forward to announcing the names of the category winners in November.”

2019 has been an exciting year for Birmingham Enterprise Community from holding its official launch in January, launching the FORWARD Accelerator programme, taking on the first cohort of the accelerator programme and creating a home for the community at Alpha Works, a collaborative workspace within Birmingham’s iconic Alpha Tower.

“To be shortlisted for this award is great recognition for the hard work shown by the whole community throughout the year. We are extremely passionate about the work that we do and believe that we have created valuable support for startups within the Midlands whether it is providing the opportunity to take a look inside organisations such as Gymshark or the comprehensive support we provide through the FORWARD Accelerator programme. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that has come on this journey with us – our startups, mentors, partners and of course those who support our work by attending events and promoting the work that we do!”
– Daniel Evans, CEO, Birmingham Enterprise Community
