Green Landing Programme UK

BEC was commissioned by ProChile and British Embassy Chile to design and deliver a programme of support for sustainability focused businesses from Chile who are looking for opportunities to enter the UK market. The programme was designed to deliver a mixture of group sessions with 1-to-1 support in order to help the businesses gain a better understanding of opportunities in the UK market and what they would need to do in order to successfully enter the market. Additionally, the programme also provided tailored introductions to the participating businesses to suppliers, investors and potential collaborators to help them begin to build their UK network.

Businesses in the programme had turnover ranging from $1 million – $52 million in annual revenue and came from sectors including biomaterials, food & drink, and travel & tourism.

Module 1: UK Market Introduction & Overview

During this session participants are introduced to the UK market to understand how the ecosystem works and who are the different players who could support their businesses.

Module 2: Operating Internationally

In this session, we explore what businesses need to consider when they begin to operate in more than one country - from adapting to new language & culture to complying with country specific regulations.

Module 3: Getting Investment in the UK

Gaining the investment required to grow a business is essential. In this session, we take a look at the UK investment landscape, investment related tax incentives and expectations of investors based in the UK.

Module 4: Pitching to UK Stakeholders

During this final session, we provide a masterclass in how to pitch to stakeholders in the UK. Ensuring you deliver a high quality pitch with a strong narrative and the right content is essential when presenting a business to potential clients, partners or investors.
