Accelerate UK 2023 Applications Now Open

The applications for this year’s Accelerate UK programme have now officially opened.

BEC is excited to once again be appointed by the UK Government’s Department for Business & Trade (DBT) to deliver the Accelerate UK programme for the 3rd time. Accelerate UK is a programme that supports innovative technology companies from Argentina, Chile & Uruguay to explore opportunities to internationalise through growth and expansion in the UK.

The programme aims to support businesses to consider what it takes to successfully enter the UK market and the types of strategy, partnerships and funding that they may require to successfully grow internationally. The businesses selected to take part in the programme will have a chance to win personalised support, market introductions and a trip to London Tech Week to support their market entry to the UK. In addition to BEC, they will also be supported by other organisations such as EBS, Kaiku & AI Forge.

The last winner had the following to say:

’The competition exceeded our expectations. Thanks to Accelerate UK, and the Embassy’s support, we were able to travel to London and hold meetings with stakeholders that were key for ArgenTAG’s success. Furthermore, we were able to understand the local innovation ecosystem, advised on how to do business in the UK and on how to use the UK as a platform to access all of Europe.’’

– Leandro Ciappina, Co-founder & CEO, ArgenTAG

“We are so excited to be able to deliver Accelerate UK once again”, said BEC CEO Daniel Evans, “every time we have had the pleasure of working with some very exciting companies from Argentina, Chile & Uruguay and we are once again hoping to select a strong cohort for the 3rd running of the programme. This programme enables businesses to get access to really valuable expertise from those who know what it takes to succeed in the UK market”.
